Looking for Love
"The Morning After", a play by Broadway and West End Peter playwright Peter Quilter, directed by Cezary Morawski, is the latest addition to the repertoire at Warsaw's Capitol Theater.
The play is an amusing story about a search for a partner and openness in relationships, replete with songs. However, under the guise of a smile, the author denounces vices such as hypocrisy and mendacity, while also asking whether anyone has the right to judge the way other people choose their partners.
As it turns out, there are as many ways to find love as the number of those looking for it. Some indulge in romantic impulses while waiting for Mr. or Miss Right, while others experiment, using the trial-and-error approach.
The cast includes Aneta Todorczuk-Perchuć, Anna Gornostaj, Przemysław Sadowski and Krzysztof Pluskota. The costumes were designed by Małgorzata Bursztynowicz and the stage designer is Dorota Banasik. The songs are by Michał Wojnarowski, and the music was composed by Mateusz Dębski.
